From Noise to Roots: Why One Entrepreneur Chose Quincy to Start Fresh

Sometimes, change starts with a craving. A craving for space or stillness, for something that feels like yours.

When we set out to tell the story of Quincy’s growth, sure, we were looking at new buildings and booming data centers, but more importantly we wanted to highlight the people who are choosing to bet on this town. The ones who see what’s coming and decide to be part of it before it’s obvious.

That’s what brought us to Kyle Grennan and his wife Monica, owners of Quincy’s Pita Pit and, more importantly, new members of a community they now proudly call home.

Kyle’s story isn’t flashy. It’s thoughtful. Like a lot of people, he and Monica were looking for a different rhythm of life...something slower, sunnier, and more aligned with what really matters. They left behind traffic and noise, and arrived in Quincy ready to build something from the ground up.

In his own words, they saw “a lot of growth here”, enough to dream big, take a chance, and grow with the city. And from the looks of it, they’re not the only ones.

This short video is a glimpse into why Quincy, Washington is becoming more than just a place to pass through. It’s a place people are choosing. A place where you can still start fresh, build something real, and feel the town open its arms to meet you.

Watch Kyle’s story below and if you’ve ever thought about making a move, it just might spark something.
